UAE is holding the first International Minority Muslim Congress in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the country on May 8-9, 2018. More than 400 representatives from around 140 countries are participating in the event. The event aims to discuss the solutions for the issues muslim minorities are facing in their countries.
Doctor Ali Rashid Nuaymiy is chairing the event and Doctor Muhammad Bashariy is assisting. Ms Odinakhon Muhammad Yusuf, religious scientist, a daughter of world-known scholar Muhammad Yusuf Muhammad Sadik (rahmatullahi alayh) is representing Uzbekistan in this congress.

Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan conducted a mobile reception for citizens in the Başakşehir district of Istanbul, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the meeting, citizens were provided with consultations on consular and legal matters, including the legality of residence in Türkiye, legal status, documentation and opportunities for obtaining consular assistance.
Together with the diplomats, two imams participated in the reception, addressing religious questions from compatriots and conducting explanatory discussions on the necessity of avoiding prohibited and misguided religious movements.
Separate discussions were held with women and men facing difficult social circumstances. They were provided with assistance in resolving the issues concerning them.
Consulate General also reaffirmed its readiness to provide citizens with practical assistance in processing the necessary documentation and in matters regarding repatriation to their homeland.
