The publication notes that in recent years Uzbekistan has gained recognition in leading global rankings and foreign government recommendations as a country with a high level of domestic security.
According to the World Justice Project – Rule of Law Index 2025, Uzbekistan ranked 17th out of 143 countries in the “Order and Security” category, leading among 15 countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The “Gallup Global Safety Report” also found that 86% of Uzbekistan’s population feel safe walking alone at night, well above the global average.
