حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو إِدْرِيسَ عَائِذُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، وَكَانَ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَهُوَ أَحَدُ النُّقَبَاءِ لَيْلَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ وَحَوْلَهُ عِصَابَةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ: "بَايِعُونِي عَلَى أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكُوا بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا، وَلَا تَسْرِقُوا، وَلَا تَزْنُوا، وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ، وَلَا تَأْتُوا بِبُهْتَانٍ تَفْتَرُونَهُ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَرْجُلِكُمْ، وَلَا تَعْصُوا فِي مَعْرُوفٍ، فَمَنْ وَفَى مِنْكُمْ فَأَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَمَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا فَعُوقِبَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَهُ، وَمَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ سَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ فَهُوَ إِلَى اللَّهِ إِنْ شَاءَ عَفَا عَنْهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ عَاقَبَهُ"، فَبَايَعْنَاهُ عَلَى ذَلِك.
Sahih hadith: Narrated 'Ubada bin As-Samit: who took part in the battle of Badr and was a Naqib (a person heading a group of six persons), on the night of Al-'Aqaba pledge: Allah's Apostle said while a group of his companions were around him, Swear allegiance to me for:
1. Not to join anything in worship along with Allah.
2. Not to steal.
3. Not to commit illegal sexual intercourse.
4. Not to kill your children.
5. Not to accuse an innocent person (to spread such an accusation among people).
6. Not to be disobedient (when ordered) to do good deed. The Prophet added: Whoever among you fulfills his pledge will be rewarded by Allah. And whoever indulges in any one of them (except the ascription of partners to Allah) and gets the punishment in this world, that punishment will be an expiation for that sin. And if one indulges in any of them, and Allah conceals his sin, it is up to Him to forgive or punish him (in the Hereafter). 'Ubada bin As-Samit added: So we swore allegiance for these. The Embassy of Uzbekistan, together with the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Uzbek students at Albukhary International University in Malaysia’s Kedah state, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was attended by university officials and Uzbek citizens studying various disciplines on full scholarships.
The meeting focused on bringing together young Uzbeks living abroad, strengthening their sense of patriotism and familiarizing them with major reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan.
Ambassador Karomiddin Gadoyev congratulated the students on the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s state independence and briefed them on key points of the President’s address delivered at a ceremony marking the occasion.
Particular attention was given to national youth policy priorities, ongoing initiatives and the role of government institutions in supporting young people.
Participants were also briefed on the embassy’s work with the Uzbek community in Malaysia. The diplomatic mission identified bringing together the younger diaspora, addressing its concerns and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Uzbek citizens as key priorities.
Zayniddin domla Eshonkulov, Deputy Chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan and Chairman of the Waqf Public Charitable Foundation, delivered a presentation titled “Uzbekistan – A Country of Tolerance.”
He also outlined Uzbekistan’s state policy in the religious sphere and measures aimed at ensuring citizens’ freedom of conscience.
The meeting emphasized that creating conditions for the comprehensive development and education of young people, as well as protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Uzbek students abroad, remain among the priorities of state policy.
During an interactive discussion, participants considered measures to support Uzbek youth in Malaysia and plans to hold cultural and educational events involving young Uzbeks next year.
The students presented their ideas and proposals for further engagement with fellow citizens and expressed their readiness to actively contribute to Uzbekistan’s development and participate in the country’s public life.
