A group of talented Uzbek students has departed for Malaysia to pursue their higher education at the Al-Bukhary International University (AIU), thanks to a partnership between the "Vaqf" Charity Public Foundation, under the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, and AIU.
The students were officially sent off from the Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport. This collaboration marks a significant step in providing educational opportunities for young people in prestigious international institutions.
Albukhary International University currently hosts approximately 1,500 students from over 60 countries. The university offers high-quality education in various fields, including:

A new mosque named “Shaykh Mukhtar Vali Jome Mosque” has been inaugurated in the Yangiarik district of Khorezm region.
The opening ceremony was attended by Khorezm regional Chief Imam-Khatib Khayrulla Abdulloev, Head of Yangiarik District Administration Zafarbek Matnazarov, specialist of the Committee on Religious Affairs Anvarbek Eshmetov, Chief Imam-Khatib of Urgench city Hasanboy Kenjayev, Head of Imam Fakhruddin ar-Rozi Islamic Educational Institution Davronbek Abduqodirov, along with district and city imams, officials, and local residents.
The newly built mosque, which meets modern standards and provides all necessary facilities, can accommodate up to 300 worshippers.
Following the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, prayers of gratitude and blessings were offered for all those who contributed with dedication and sincerity to the construction and establishment of the mosque.
